About the event
In the 1800s, in an effort to get wine consumers to buy and drink rosé, wine towns would throw pink parties: city streetlights would go pink, while townsfolk would dress in all pink and go door-to-door through town drinking their shopkeepers' and neighbors' favorite rosé wines.
In 1990, after a major ACT UP protest at San Francisco Pride, activists spontaneously threw a street party to celebrate life and resilience in the midst of the AIDS crisis. This evolved into "Pink Saturday," a legendary Castro District block party featuring DJs and drag culture.
In 2026, in North Adams, we're celebrating our gays and rosés at this all pink party at The Green Room. Wear pink, drink pink, get pink.
